Netflix came to us to create a vibrant animated video and motion system that breaks down how games are made—using the visual language of gaming itself to spark curiosity, boost engagement, and extend the life of beloved IP.

Storytelling

As part of our ongoing partnership with Netflix, we were tasked with visualizing the thrill of game creation—while also spotlighting games as a powerful way to keep audiences engaged, on-platform, and connected to existing IP for longer.

Character Design

Our 3D hero went through a full design journey, shaped to feel friendly, expressive, and unmistakably game-inspired. Every detail was crafted to build personality and help the character instantly connect with viewers.

Visual Toolkit

We built a flexible visual toolkit to guide viewers through the experience—using central design elements to shape each scene. As the story unfolded, complexity increased, giving the character new challenges to navigate and the video a clear arc of progression and growth.

Script Development & Tone

Working closely with the Netflix team, we helped shape a script and tone that landed with internal stakeholders at every level. Friendly, engaging voiceover talent kept the energy high and the experience approachable from start to finish.

Results

Game on. Since this release, Netflix has continued to level up its games strategy—investing heavily, expanding its slate, and drawing millions of players deeper into the platform.
